Access Control Systems

Access control systems come in many different forms and with varying results, but the goal is always the same; to restrict access to those who are permitted entry.

For business and residential properties, access control systems can be as extensive or subtle as you want. It could involve full-time security personnel working in tandem with a security system, or it could be something simple like a gate. The scale of the system depends upon the scale of the property and the security risks it is exposed to.

Typically you’ll find some of the top notch access control systems in place in government premises and infrastructural locations (like electrical grids and data centres). These will include things like bollard barricades, keycard, ID and pincode access points and security guards, just to name a few.

For smaller businesses and residential properties, the risks are considerably less and it can be difficult to validate a need to access control systems on the higher end of the market. Even so, keycard and pincode access points are surprisingly affordable.
