Protecting Possessions Using a Fog Generator

Security fog generators are a way of deterring criminals who have managed to gain access to your premises to help prevent further damage and theft of possessions. When the system is triggered, it will fill the room with a harmless yet thick smoke which obscures the view of the premises and its contents. This serves to disorientate the criminal, masking the contents of the room in order to keep it safe.

Many smoke security systems can be integrated into current systems to work with your existing security alarms. They can also be installed as standalone systems if you’d prefer, making them a highly versatile way to ensure the safety of your property. The equipment itself is compact and non-obtrusive so that it can be installed wherever is most suitable for you. Whilst most commonly used within buildings, it’s also possible to purchase versions to protect vehicles (especially larger vans which can contain a number of valuables), or portable versions to move to different locations, such as building sites or other temporary workstations.

A smoke system provides many advantages which other methods of security can’t offer. Often, thieves will be prepared to enter a building at any cost, but if smoke is released they will be unable to steal anything once inside. The speed of the smoke release means that a criminal will be forced to retreat from a property far sooner than they might be with an alarm system alone, which relies on people to react to it in order for it to be effective. This makes a smoke system a sensible choice for anybody wanting to protect their possessions during a break in.
